What Happened to the Dolphins? is a sub mission in Dave the Diver.
Some time after rescuing the Pink Dolphin in A Dolphin's Request, Dave may once again be approached by the gray dolphin when starting a dive.
Leading Dave to the Pink Dolphin, which has become ensnared in a poacher's net.
As Dave begins to cut the line that is lifting the net to the surface, poachers begin to fire down with rifles, attempting to stop Dave from releasing their prize.
With the pink dolphin released, the poachers drive away with their boat. The dolphins celebrate and reward Dave with a Large Gold Bar.
To cut the net, Dave can simply rapidly slash at it, while swimming out of the way of the firing lines.
Failing to release the dolphin will simply reset the mission progress to when Dave arrives to the trapped dolphin. If Dave leaves the Blue Hole without arriving by the trapped dolphin, the mission will fail and restarts the next time Dave dives.
