There are a number of weapons, both melee and ranged, throughout Dave the Diver.
Starting out, most weapons will be found through weapon crates, giving you access to a variety of melee, guns, and even different harpoon tips, all of which have a variety of damage and elemental effects. Gun Enhancement Kits can also be found that increase the temporary level of the ranged weapon and refills that gun's ammo when picked up. As you progress in the game, different types of weapons will become available.
Melee Weapons[]
Melee weapons or auxiliary items are found in yellow supply chests. Note that these weapons and items cannot be taken out of the Blue Hole as they break down, and cannot be crafted.

Guns[]
After completing the prologue sub mission Weaponsmith Duff, materials can then be gathered to give to Duff to craft a permanent version of the Basic Underwater Rifle via the Weapon Shop app so that it can be used in the Blue Hole without losing it.
Not counting the basic underwater rifle, all other guns need a blueprint before they can be crafted. To do this, you just need to find and pick up the new gun type when dropped from a weapons crate. After picking up a new gun enough times on multiple dives, Duff will then be able to create that gun for Dave.
With the start of the Chapter 2 main mission, Speak with the Sea People, weapons may be upgraded at Duff's Weapon Shop using additional resources. You can also craft multiples of the same basic gun template to create a variety of different enhanced guns.

- You can switch your gun out using the storage box while on the boat.
- With the start of Speak with the Sea People, you can disassemble guns and harpoon tips into fragments by holding down an interact button on that weapon. The amount of fragments received is one higher than the weapon level of the disassembled weapon item.
