Udo is a character in Dave the Diver.
Udo is a reporter for the magazine, Weekly Fish. He buys pictures of interesting fish from Dave.

His first appearance is after starting the Chapter 2 mission Sea People Language Translator. Udo calls Dave, confirming the variety of fish in the Blue Hole. Udo wants to take pictures of the fish, but he is unable to dive. Mentioning Dave's Underwater Camera, Udo asks the diver to take pictures for rewards.
After taking some pictures and getting to the finale of Chapter 2, Destroy the Entryway, Udo calls Dave about photoshoot of a Manta Ray. After getting some bait from Ellie, Udo begins preparations for the underwater night photoshoot. A few days later Udo is ready and placed some lights and underwater generators in the shallows for Dave to take some pictures.
Eventually, Udo calls Dave to look for novel fish, as their Fish Radar has detected multiple new fish types within the Blue Hole. Weekly Fish are planning special showcases of these new fish called Catch Them All Project where they research the fish on the weekdays and have Dave to try to catch them over the weekends. The fish will be featured every Monday so Dave has to find the fish by Sunday evening at the latest. Udo gives Dave the Fish Tracker. Starting out with the Warrior Parrotfish, this starts the FishMon feature.
