Truck Hermit Crab is a shallows fish and an optional boss in Dave the Diver.

Description[]
- A huge hermit crab found in the Blue Hole. It lives in an abandoned truck under the sea and is only active at night.
Combat tactics[]
For this crab, no weapons are needed. Instead, one must pick up five explosive barrels from the bottom of the seafloor and drop on the crab from above to damage it.
It has two main tactics: it'll either try to fling debris up to try and hit and damage you (and cause the barrel to explode if you're carrying one when hit) or it'll pound the ground to make debris fall from certain points in the ceiling (where the metal scraps are sticking out) which will also likewise cause damage if hit by any of them.
To get more barrels to appear, you'll need to be near the sea floor to have the hermit crab pound the ground, making a couple barrels surface. After the 4th barrel, the crab will get more defensive though it does not change the tactics needed. After the fifth successful hit, it'll be defeated.
