The Sea People Village's Trust is the only main mission of Chapter 3: A Request from the Sea People in Dave the Diver.
With Tenzhin convinced to give Dave a chance to prove himself to the village, the chief gives Dave a magical Sea People Mirror. Letting Dave to use it, when it's day time, and travel instantly to the mirror placed in the middle of the Sea People Village.
Also giving Dave the Village Map, to more easily find the villagers to help.
Returning to the surface, Dave installs the mirror onto the boat. Noticing the time it's already past closing time late in the evening, Dave arrives to the Sushi Bar to help clean up with only Momo as company.
Yoshie arrives to the bar after seeing the lights still being on. Dave and Yoshie start talking about Bancho, and the incident that almost caused him to stop cooking.
After Dave pours Yoshie a drink, she tells the story what happened 12 years ago.
Happy about the direction Bancho's life is going, Yoshie encourages Dave to keep working with the chef.
The next morning Dr. Bacon returns to the Blue Hole, worried as he wasn't there and couldn't contact Dave. As Dave tells the archeologist that he was at the village and tells the details of what happened. Dr. Bacon encourages Dave to try helping the sea people villagers.
The next night a cutscene featuring Duff plays out, where he dreams of being in a live Pop concert with the fictional characters from Stra Stella, singing the Japanese version of the song Shooting Star. A simple rhythm game has to be completed to progress.
This chapter requires Dave to complete multiple sub missions in the Sea People Village to acquire 100 credit points.
The options in the flashback scene don't seem to matter.
