The Leahs-chan Rescue is the sixth mission of Chapter 1: Traces of the Sea People in Dave the Diver.
Note: Completing this mission will end the the day and the chapter.
Returning to the boat after the Pink Delivery Box was taken by the tentacle, Dave receives the Gas Cutter from Duff to cut through the hull of the shipwreck. Duff hurries Dave along to rescue his beloved Leahs figurine.
Diving back down to the shipwreck Dave has to cut through the top of the ship, powering the cutter while following along the seam in constant motion with simple minigame.
As Dave goes through the ship, a large cavern is revealed underneath with deep snores sounding out from further in. Swimming to the end of the cavern, a massive red sleeping shape is revealed with the Pink Delivery Box by its side.
Urged by Duff, Dave swims closer but barely making any distance before the Giant Squid awakens and blows Dave away with a massive burst of ink.
The fight for Leahs begins as tentacles burst through the cavern walls to try keep Dave away as he tries to fight the squid by hitting the fragile giant eye.
After hitting the eye twice, the squid covers it with a tentacle, forcing Dave to move closer at which point the squid tries to smack Dave directly.
Defeating the squid an injured Sea People girl crawls out from the remains, another arriving shortly to pick her up. The Sea Person tries to swim to the surface but gets startled by seeing Dave and swims back where they came from.
Dave cuts up the large tentacle and a Giant Squid Tooth for transport then picks up Leahs-chan's Pink Delivery Box, immediately heading to the surface.
Duff is overwhelmed with happiness and rewards Dave with the Deep Sea Headlamp.
Once the Giant Squid has been defeated, Dave has to pick up the delivery box and the dive will end, ending up with the final missions to be completed and the chapter ends.
It's possible to retreat and leave the cave, leaving the squid to it's sleep and start the fight again, though this will remove most of the O2 and ammo boxes.
