Speak with the Sea People is the third mission of Chapter 2: Into the Deep in Dave the Diver.
Dr. Bacon arrives the next morning to bring the Translation Device to Dave.
After Dr. Bacon departs, Duff calls Dave and tells about upgrading the guns with various materials Dave can find. Duff gets flustered by Dave's appreciation and goes back to playing StraStella.
Arriving back to the Depths, Dave is finally able to communicate with the Sea People. The Sea Person is shocked to hear Dave speak to him, thinking Dave might be something different as his body shape is much different than the other humans he has ever seen. Introducing himself as Suwam, and their kind as Low-Dwellers, bragging he is the bravest and coolest male among them.
Introducing the injured female lying on the platform as the daughter of the Sea People village chief, Ramo.
To treat Ramo, he requires some medicinal herbs, but being unable to leave her alone, Suwam requests Dave to help them. Specifying he needs some Feather Coral and Lily Coral, as well as making them edible. Leaving it all for Dave to figure out.
After finding the needed corals on the top two levels of the Depths. Dave brings them to the surface to find a chef to make them edible, getting aid from Bancho to turn them into a Coral Porridge.
