Sato is a character in Dave the Diver.
Sato gives Dave access to the Marinca app on his Smartphone.
Appearances[]
On his first appearance, Sato cruises on the surface of the Blue Hole with his paddleboat and meets Dave on an afternoon in Chapter 1. Telling him about the Marine Cards and shares the app with Dave. Sato uses Dave, to gather the digital cards for him.
On the afternoon after defeating the Giant Squid, on the start of Chapter 2, Sato arrives to check on Dave's updated list. Shocked by Dave's acquisition of the Giant Squid boss card, Sato encourages Dave to continue diving and collecting rare cards.
On a stormy evening after receiving the grip gloves in the finale of Chapter 2, Destroy the Entryway, Sato paddles over to Dave. Telling about the vortex that might take him to a boss fish. After defeating the Truck Hermit Crab, Sato awaits Dave on the surface ready to see what Dave found through the vortex. Astounded by the Super Rare Boss Card, Sato has Dave shared the card and leaves on his paddleboat.

- Sato is a parody of Ash Ketchum, from the Pokémon franchise, whose name in the original Japanese version is Satoshi.
