Prepare Sushi Ingredients is the second mission after the tutorial in Dave the Diver. It's given alongside Repair Bancho Sushi as a starting point in the game.
Though as a prologue mission with Dave having bad gear, it's expected to harpoon low value fish. It is possible to find the Sleepy Toy Hammer from the supply boxes and gather 3 star fish by hitting fish with the tranquilizer effect as they swim past Dave when chased to the edge of their areas.

Until the 7th fish is brought out to the boat, the day will not end and it will always count as the 1st dive. Allowing Dave to gather seaweed, components and valuables for as many dives as they want without affecting the day. There seems to be 2 map variants available at this point, one with Barrel Jellyfish and one with Fried Egg Jellyfish.
