Biography[]
Pastro is a refined chef from Italy, focusing on classical and well presented dishes. These skills got him noticed by Lois Crawford, who appeared to hold Pastro in high regard for his skills and sticking to what she referred to as "classical elegance". She held Pastro in such high esteem that she later brought him in to challenge Bancho on the show, Challenge the Chef, as her refusal to even try Bancho's unique Whole-Roasted Shark Head from 12 years ago caused her reputation as a food critic to decline.
On entering Bancho Sushi, Pastro remarked he heard of how odd Bancho was, using strange ingredients before noting how clearly this was just to put on a show to make up for his disgusting dishes. Pastro was so adamant behind this mindset, and in particular thinking he was the best at pasta, that when Vincent claimed Bancho's Humboldt Ink Pasta as the winning dish over Pastro's carbonara, Pastro insulted the show, claiming it was lame and not worth his time. He then stormed off before he could even hear Vincent's reasoning for why he voted the way he did.
