The Farm is one of the secondary locations in Dave the Diver.
Overview[]
The farm is built by Otto to source fresh rice for the VIP Mission Michael Bang's Inspiration and later vegetables for Good Ol' Vegetable Sushi!. Otto sells seeds, fertilizers, and upgrades as well as a daily set of fresh produce, to Dave, who needs to buy, plant, water, and harvest any crops in the vegetable garden, weed the rice paddy, and fertilize both fields as needed. Later, MC Sammy joins the farm to build a chicken coop and handles buying and selling chickens.
Hiring Sammy[]
With the October 11 Content Update, after completing the new sub mission, A Penny for Sammy's Thoughts., Sammy will be unlocked as a possible labor source to automatically handle the fields, including planting, weeding, fertilizing, and harvesting the crops. However, he can only do this if you have enough seeds and fertilizer in his "Manage" tab after hiring him. Otherwise, he won't be able to plant and/or fertilize as needed. Note you can also specify when he should use the nutrient fertilizer based on preset percentages.

Vegetable Farm[]
Rice Paddy[]
Otto starts off the paddy with 5 rice plantings, which you can later upgrade to extend the size of the paddy, increasing the size of possible yield. You must regularly weed the paddy from growing weeds and keep pests from eating the rice plants. Note that the nutrient bar of the field will require special fertilizer to increase fully (weeding only increases it a small percentage).

Vegetable Garden[]
To start sourcing fresh vegetables, Otto creates a simple row to begin gardening vegetables. Later, Otto can dig up more rows for you to plant more crops. The growing crops need to be watered either by the watering can, sprinklers, or rain to grow.

Chicken Farm[]
Sammy builds a coop for chickens and brings a simple white chicken for free to farm Eggs and Grade A Eggs. You can buy more chickens, with up to 5 of each of color, or sell them later if you need the money back.

With the October 11 Content Update, Sammy adds two pieces of equipment that can be used to help with the chickens.

Note that the chicken feeder is only if you wish to increase egg production and doesn't need to be re-filled unless you're trying to get more eggs. In those cases, you can fill it with one of two choices:

Otto sells a number of items, from upgrades to field sizes and tools, to seeds and farmable ingredients. Note that for the ingredients, he only sells 3 of each every day. Also keep in mind not all items are automatically available, with some requiring certain sub missions to be completed before they are unlocked.
