Ellie is a character in Dave the Diver.
She's a biology graduate student in the area and requests Dave's help in her research by gathering certain items for her. After doing her first 2 sub missions, she'll give access to the Ecowatcher app, which will then allow Dave to collect points towards special charm bracelets.
By the time Dave manages to defeat Yawie, Ellie has finished her thesis and thus takes a break to visit Bancho Sushi in person, bringing her Ecowatcher bag along, indicating she's reached level 5 in the app.

Ellie first appears by video calling Dave on the morning of the 2nd day. She requests Dave to gather a pair of Agar and Red Starfish to start her studies on the ecology of the Blue Hole, offering an unannounced reward.
