Dunkleosteus is a hydrothermal fish in Dave the Diver.
Dunkleosteus is immune to bullets from guns and harpoons on its upper hard scaled body. This includes the Ice Gun, Drain Gun and even the Hush Dart which makes it very difficult to sedate even when fully upgraded. You need to aim for its belly, which has no scale. Upon hitting this area, you will deal double damage.
However, the Grenade Launcher and the Sticky Bomb Gun as well as all their variations ignore this defence as they deal area of effect damage, thus they always hit the belly regardless of where the shot lands. Which also makes it easy to sedate a Dunkleosteus by using tranquilizer versions of these weapons.
